Tiny Turners at Orleans House

IMG_7444 IMG_7438a The theme of Tiny Turners and a (lovely) exhibition at Orleans House, by Katie Sollohub responding to Turner House in Twickenham, is no casual starting point for a 2-hour workshop with up to 30 children aged between 4 and 7. I gave it my best shot! Lots of experimentation, lots of mess and lots of fun led to these concertina books that demonstrate painting tools such as fingers, twigs and cotton wool buds, in response to still life objects that you might find in Turner's house.
